Studio
At dC Design we’ve tailored our approach to incorporate thoughtful and carefully chosen materials, finishes and designs to maximize the beauty of the spaces we create. Achieving the highest attention to detail and creativity is our specialty, and our top priority is providing a highly personalized experience for our clientele. It's important to us that we focus on implementing personal details and touches that speak to their taste, and our expertise is striking the right balance of seamless designs that ultimately reflect the personality of the owner.
Philosophies
We design from the inside out.
We begin a design by understanding the spaces most important to our clients and how they need/wish to experience their environment.
We seek originality.
We pursue unique spaces that are a reflection of how our clients live, the styles they are drawn to and the setting in which the building is/will become a part of.
We pursue balance.
Blending built spaces with the natural environment, carefully balancing spaces intended for gathering with those intended for respite, and meticulously merging forms to create harmonious, timeless spaces is always our objective.
No Kitsch.
We don’t imitate a single style but draw inspiration from various sources, and seek comfort, simplicity and confidently composed spaces for living… spaces for one to thrive. Each design naturally evolves while we seek to create homes for modern living.
Details Matter.
Truly unique spaces are grounded in proven principles and thoughtful concepts, and we believe creating an artful & well-composed home takes a constant evaluation of materials and key intersections of present and proposed elements. But, we are confident that every step of the process should be a focus to the finer details of it all--this belief will always be at the foundation of what we design.

Andy Drake
Design Director
Andy always wanted to be an architect. At a young age, his father would bring him along to home appraisals, and he would draw new homes in his free time. Since then, he has worked to better understand the built environment, gaining experience working on local and international projects. Over the course of these projects, Andy gained an appreciation for problem-seeking; the recognition that successful projects are the result of understanding client’s needs, the particulars of the site, and aesthetic preferences. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Andy stayed in Eugene and married his college sweetheart, Samantha. Their two rescue pups occasionally help out in the office, keeping morale high!
Madison Martin
Designer
At a young age, Madison always had a passion for design and creative expression. She has been a designer at DC for 5 years, after graduating from Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland. With past experience in graphic design and a love for painting and drawing, she enjoys being able to create beautiful designs for clients in her hometown.
Collin Kayser
Designer
Collin’s passion for interior design started at a young age and has continued to evolve. He graduated from Oregon State University with a double major in Agricultural Business Management and Interior Design. Collin has over a decade of experience in the industry and has worked on both residential and commercial projects throughout the country. Collin finds great joy in helping clients realize the potential in their home and enjoys working in many different design styles.
Christina Anderson
Designer
Christina’s love for design was born from an early interest in art and a knack for math. Upon realizing architecture was a natural blend of the two, that interest quickly grew into a passion for design. Christina followed that passion to the University of Oregon, where she received her BA in Interior Architecture. Her career of over ten years led her to work on a variety of project types, both commercial and residential. She is driven by the belief that good design can positively transform daily life. When Christina is not designing, she can be found on a bleacher with her husband, in any number of towns along the west coast cheering on one of their three kids.
Rachael Bineham
Designer
A naturally inquisitive person, Rachael loves to explore various aspects of design. From advertising and floral arrangements, to helping clients achieve a unique design vision for their space, she devotes herself to all creative pursuits. She has extensive residential experience in the interior design of renovations, and illustrating with impactful 3D drawings and developing colorful material boards that convey the character of her designs is one of her superpowers.
In her spare time Rachael enjoys skiing, travelling & enjoying the Oregon coast with her husband Curtis and their dog, Parker, and also loves thrift shopping for "fun treasures."
“Innovation is often the ability to reach into the past and bring back what is good, what is beautiful, what is useful, what is lasting and timeless.”
